Mandarin Study Deck is a free study website. This policy explains how the website handles information when you use it.

The website does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, password, or payment information.

Your learned/unlearned card progress is stored in your own browser using local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to the website owner.

Third-party services

The website uses a third-party translation service to show English translations for study phrases and example sentences. It also uses a third-party writing-animation library for character stroke order. These providers may receive standard technical information such as your IP address or browser information when their services load.

Advertising

The website does not currently display advertisements. If Google AdSense or another advertising provider is added in the future, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ads and show relevant advertising. This policy will be updated before advertising is enabled.
